Congratulations to Peter Duncan for his AWGIE win!

We're pleased to congratulate Peter Duncan on his win at the 58th Annual AWGIE Awards, held on Thursday, 19th February 2026, at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts.

Peter took home the AWGIE Award for Feature Film - Adapted for his screenplay The Correspondent. Peter Duncan’s powerful retelling of journalist Peter Greste’s story is based on Greste’s acclaimed 2017 memoir, The First Casualty. Directed by Kriv Stenders, the film stars Richard Roxburgh, Julie Maroun, and Rahel Romahn and is currently streaming on Netflix.
