Congratulations to Anna Cahill, Peter Duncan, Ben Lawrence & Aaron McLisky for their AACTA Wins!

The 2026 AACTA Awards were held across the 4th and 6th of February, with many fantastic local and international works celebrated and recognised. We are thrilled to congratulate the following clients for their wins.

Horror feature Bring Her Back took home a multitude of accolades, including Anna Cahill for Best Costume Design in Film and Aaron McLisky for Best Cinematography in Film. This marks Anna and Aaron’s second time working with Michael and Danny Phillippou; both also credited on the enormously successful Talk to Me in 2021.

Peter Duncan was awarded Best Screenplay in Film for The Correspondent. The film stars Richard Roxburgh, Julie Maroun and Rahel Romahn and is based on Peter Greste’s acclaimed 2017 memoir The First Casualty. It is currently streaming on Netflix.

Alongside winning Best Documentary or Factual Program, The People Vs. Robodebt also took home Best Direction in Nonfiction Television. Ben Lawrence directed the entirety of the series, and was awarded for his work on episode two.

We also extend our congratulations to all clients nominated, and The Newsreader team for their Best Drama Series win.
