Trailer for 'Last Seen' Released
The trailer for Last Seen has arrived, giving us our first look at Apple TV+'s new six-episode Australian thriller, based on Ryan David Jahn's novel The Dispatcher.
The series is adapted by Kris Mrksa, who also serves as lead writer and executive producer. Kris's previous credits include Requiem, The Murders at White House Farm, Protection, and The Slap. Also working on the series is Giula Sandler (The House Across the Street, The Rumour, Protection), who wrote two episodes, and Tov Belling, who served as 2nd Unit Director / DOP.
Last Seen follows police detective Ian Ridley, whose life was shattered eleven years ago when his young daughter, Maggie, vanished without a trace. Now working as a dispatcher, he receives a distress call from a teenage girl he believes is her and will stop at nothing to bring her home. Set and filmed in Victoria, Australia, the series stars Gotham Award winner Patrick Brammall alongside Maxine Peake, Brendan Cowell, Daniel Henshall, Jessica Wren, and Zahra Newman.
Last Seen is produced by Werner Film Productions and 60Forty Films. It premieres on Apple TV+ on 9 September with two episodes, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through to 7 October 2026.
