First Look at Last Seen, out Sep 9 on Apple TV+

Apple has released the first look at Last Seen, a gripping new six-episode Australian thriller set to make its global debut on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, 9 September 2026.

The series is adapted by our client Kris Mrksa (Requiem, The Murders at White House Farm, Protection, The Slap), who also serves as lead writer and executive producer. Writing alongside him is Giula Sandler (The House Across the Street, The Rumour, Protection), who penned two episodes of the series.

Last Seen follows police detective Ian Ridley, whose life was shattered eleven years ago when his young daughter, Maggie, vanished without a trace. Now working as a dispatcher, he receives a distress call from a teenage girl he believes is her; and will stop at nothing to bring her home. Set and filmed in Victoria, Australia, the series stars Gotham Award winner Patrick Brammall alongside Maxine Peake, Brendan Cowell, Daniel Henshall, Jessica Wren, and Zahra Newman.

Last Seen is produced by Werner Film Productions and 60Forty Films. It premieres on Apple TV+ on 9 September with two episodes, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through to 7 October 2026.
