‘Dustfall’ Takes Home Audience Award at Series Mania – Congratulations to Dianne Taylor, Emma Freeman and Julie-Anne De Ruvo

After two successful screenings in competition, upcoming ABC and BBC series Dustfall was bestowed the Audience Award at Series Mania 2026 in France. We are thrilled to congratulate Dianne Taylor, Emma Freeman, Julie-Anne De Ruvo and the entire team for this win.

Dianne, who was there to accept the award, penned episodes one, five and six, as well as scipt produced the series. Emma was the sole Director across all episodes, working closely again with collaborators Anna Torv, who stars as ‘Tig Pollard’, and Editor Julie-Anne. Both Dianne and Emma are also credited as Executive Producers.

Series Mania describes Dustfall as a show;

‘Anchored by the extraordinary Anna Torv (The Last of Us, The Newsreader, Mindhunter), Dustfall plunges us into the oppressive atmosphere of a remote Queensland community during an investigation into an unspeakable crime. This Australian thriller stands out for its poignant and delicate exploration of trauma in a world where victims’ voices too often collide with denial and silence. A striking and essential work that resonates with particular power in the wake of the Pelicot trial.’

Dustfall was produced by Soapbox Pictures and Moonriver TV.
