Trailer for ‘Dustfall’ Released

The six-part tropical noir Dustfall, starring Anna Torv, will premiere on the ABC October 11 after winning the Audience Award at Series Mania.

A co-commission between the ABC and BBC, it is based on Vikki Petraitis’s novel The Unbelieved, adapted for the screen by Dianne Taylor, alongside writers Stuart Page, Belinda Chayko and Beatrix Christian, with all six episodes directed by Emma Freeman. Both Dianne and Emma are also credited as Executive Producers.

Detective Tig Pollard investigates a harrowing sexual assault case which spirals darker after a key suspect turns up dead. As Tig hunts for the truth, it forces her to confront long-buried secrets from her own adolescence.

Dustfall was produced by Soapbox Pictures and Moonriver Productions.
