Comedy Series ‘Dog Park’ Announced by ABC and Matchbox Pictures

Leon Ford and Celia Pacquola are set to lead Dog Park, a new six-part series coming to the ABC and iView in 2026.

Dog Park is produced by Matchbox Pictures, where Leon co-created the series with executive producer Amanda Higgs. He also acts as co-executive producer and has written on four out of the shows six episodes, including the pilot.

The series follows Roland who, in the grip of a mid-life crisis, meets eternal optimist Samantha and her mismatched, life-loving group of dog-parkers. Roland begrudgingly keeps returning to the park, much to the joy of his canine companion, as he comes to realise community may be just what he is missing.
