ARIA Award Nominations 2025

Cameron’s would like to congratulate our clients Vidya Makan and Meg Washington on their 2025 ARIA Awards nominations!

Vidya Makan, an award-winning composer and lyricist known for her work on musicals such as Hamilton and SIX, has been nominated for Best Original Soundtrack or Musical Theatre Cast Album for The Lucky Country, the cast recording of the Australian musical of the same name. The show opened to rave reviews in Sydney in 2023 and will be presented this October at Melbourne Theatre Company’s Southbank Theatre, followed by a season as part of the MELT Festival in Brisbane.

Meg Washington, a platinum-selling and award-winning artist, has been nominated for Best Adult Contemporary Album for her fifth studio album, GEM, a country-tinged record of psychedelic folk songs. The soundtrack to How To Make Gravy, which features three original songs composed by Meg, has also been nominated for Best Original Soundtrack or Musical Theatre Cast Album.
