Docu-Drama ‘The People vs Robodebt’ Releases First Trailer – Directed by Ben Lawrence and Scripted by Jane Allen

SBS have released the details for their upcoming docu-drama, The People vs Robodebt, which will explore the devastating human story behind one of Australia’s greatest and most infamous political scandals.

The three-part series will feature key persons impacted and involved, with many sharing their stories fully for the first time. Ben Lawrence directed the entirety of the series, overseeing both the factual and narrative elements. Writer Jane Allen penned the drama scenes. The program is produced by CJZ and lead by executive producer Michael Cordell.

The People vs Robodebt will air weekly on SBS from Septermber 24th, with the entire series also available to stream on SBS On Demand. The official press release can be read here.
