Cameron's Welcomes Madeleine Dyer

Cameron’s is thrilled to welcome Madeleine Dyer to the agency!

Madeleine is a writer and director working across television and film. She recently directed 4 episodes of Ghosts Australia (BBC Studios/Paramount+), set to release in November 2025. Prior to this, she directed 3 episodes on Season 2 of the ABC/BBC comedy Austin (Northern Pictures), following her work on the show's first season where she also directed 3 episodes. Madeleine directed episode 6 of Colin from Accounts Season 2 (Easy Tiger/Binge), for which she earned an AACTA nomination for Best Direction in Drama or Comedy. She first joined the show as a shadow director under Trent O’Donnell before directing an episode in Season 1.

Madeleine’s feature debut, A Savage Christmas, which she co-wrote and directed, was released in 2023 on Binge and was nominated for Best Indie Film at the 2024 AACTA Awards. Her award-winning short-form comedy Sexy Herpes (2017) was acquired by Channel 9 and was adapted into a Canadian TV version called Sans Rendevous and has successfully run for three seasons.

Earlier work includes co-directing the SBS/Screen Queensland web series Monsters of Many Worlds and directing award-winning short films Neighbourhood Wars and Love Sick. She has completed director’s attachments with Rachel Griffiths (Ride Like a Girl) and Kriv Stenders (Slim and I) and participated in a Jungle/ScreenWorks writers room led by Christina Van Vuuren and Nash Edgerton.

Madeleine holds an Associate Diploma in Speech and Drama Teaching (Trinity College London) and a Theatre and Film Arts degree (University of Southern Queensland).
