Editor Dave Redman Joins the Agency!

We’re thrilled to announce that Dave Redman has joined the agency!

Dave Redman is a prolific editor with over 30 years of experience working across feature film, television drama, documentary, and factual content. Over his career, he has edited six feature films and more than 250 episodes of television.

Dave’s recent television credits include the upcoming third season of NCIS: Sydney (dirs. Grant Brown, Catherine Millar and Jennifer Leacey, CBS/Paramount+, 2026), following his work on NCIS: Sydney season two in 2025. He edited Bay of Fires (dir. Jonathan Brough, Archipelago Productions/ABC, 2025), the neo-western drama Territory (dir. Greg McLean, Easy Tiger/Netflix, 2024), Scrublands (dir. Greg McLean, Easy Tiger/Stan, 2023), and three seasons of the NBC series La Brea (Matchbox Pictures/NBC, 2021–2024), which earned him a 2021 ASE Award nomination for Best Editing in Drama. Other recent credits include Irreverent (dir. Lucy Gaffy, Matchbox/Netflix, 2022), the final season of Jack Irish (dir. Greg McLean, Easy Tiger/ABC, 2021) which earned him a 2021 ASE Award nomination for Best Editing in Drama, The Gloaming (dir. Greg McLean, 20 Jons/Stan, 2020), and Wolf Creek season two (dir. Kieran Darcy-Smith, Emu Creek Pictures/Stan, 2017).

In feature films, Dave edited Blood Vessel (dir. Justin Dix, Storm Vision Entertainment, 2019), Crawlspace (dir. Justin Dix, Maker Films, 2013), Centre Place (dir. Ben Shackleford, M.I.A. Film Productions, 2012), and Damned by Dawn (dir. Brett Anstey, 2010). Over his career, Dave has edited more than 50 short films, including recent festival titles A Godless Country (dir. Jesse Richardson, 2021), which won Best Editing at the Across the Globe Film Festival, and Big City (dirs. Jordan Bond & Lachlan Ryan, 2015). He also wrote, directed, and edited the shorts Date Night (2018) and Lazy Boy (2016), and won Best Editing at Flickerfest for Peace & Quiet: Dr Genius (2000).

Dave has an extensive background in documentary and factual television, working on high-profile series such as Paramedics (WTFN/Ch 9, 2018–2020) and Vet on the Hill (WTFN/Ch 4 UK, 2016–2018). He edited the Logie Award-winning Trishna & Krishna: The Quest for Separate Lives (WTFN/Ch 7, 2010) and the ASTRA Award-winning The People Speak (WTFN/History Channel, 2012). He served as a senior editor on multiple seasons of Bondi Vet (WTFN/Ch 10), winning the 2009 ASE Award for Best Editing in TV Non-Drama, and won the 2007 ASE Award for Talk to the Animals (Seven Network).

Dave is a graduate of AFTRS, where he earned an MA in Editing for Drama and received the Complete Editor Award. In 2019, Dave received his ASE Accreditation from the Australian Screen Editors Guild and became an International Partner of the American Cinema Editors (ACE) in 2022.
