New Series ‘Two Years Later’ now in Production for Paramount+

Phoebe Tonkin and Brenton Thwaites are set to star in the new romantic drama series Two Years Later, with filming currently underway in Queensland.

The show follows thirty-somethings Emily and Ryan who pre-pandemic engaged in brief but flirty interactions on their daily commutes. After two years of lockdown pass and the world goes back to ‘normal’, the pair meet again and decide to go on eight dates to determine if they’re meant to be.

The eight-part series will be directed by Emma Freeman, Lucy Gaffy, and Paige Rattray.

Helen O’Loan is also on board as production designer, and Julie-Anne De Ruvo is editing.

Created by Pete Bridges and produced by Hoodlum Entertainment, Two Years Later will air on Paramount+ in 2026.
