BBC1 Moves Catherine Millar's 'The Secret She Keeps' to Primetime Slot, Marking an Australian Television Milestone

The six-part psychological thriller series, The Secrets She Keeps, is due to premiere in the UK on BBC1 July 6; this will mark a milestone as one of the first Australian TV dramas to screen in primetime on the BBC’s flagship channel in recent years. Four of the six episodes were directed by Cameron’s client, director Catherine Millar.

The series has sold to various international markets, including the US, France, Germany, Latin America, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Russia, CIS, the Baltics, and Israel.

Starring Laura Carmichael, Jessica de Gouw, Michael Dorman, and Ryan Corr, The Secret She Keeps, debuted in Australia on Network Ten back in April and received stellar reviews following its release.

Based on the book by Michael Robotham, the series follows two heavily pregnant women who have a chance encounter in a Sydney supermarket. Meghan is a glamorous online ‘influencer’ who is married to an ambitious television sports reporter. Agatha is a battler who works as a shelf stacker in a supermarket. Both women have secrets that emerge after their worlds collide in one shocking act.

Head on over to 10 play now to watch the series in its entirety.
