AACTA Shortlists ‘Ghosthunter’ for Best Feature Length Documentary – Congratulations Ben Lawrence

Congratulations to Director Ben Lawrence on his debut feature documentary, Ghosthunter being shortlisted by the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Award for Best Feature Length Documentary.

This is the latest accolade in a wave of success for Ben and his Ghosthunter team, with the feature having already won the Sydney Film Festival Best Australian Documentary Award back in June, as well as having screened at several international and domestic film festivals.

Ghosthunter is up against nine other documentaries, which include: Backtrack Boys, Dying to Live, Guilty, Gurrumul, Have You Seen the Listers?, Island of the Hungry Ghosts, Jill Bilcock: Dancing the Invisible, Mountain and Working Class Boy.

AACTA members will vote to determine the official nominations, which will be announced in October, before a second round of voting will take place to determine the winner in November. If you’re a registered AACTA voter, you can place your vote here.

Ghosthunter will hit Australian cinemas on September 20th and you can buy your tickets here.
