Erin is a multi-award-winning writer/director whose work is characterised by nuanced and emotionally truthful performances, arresting visuals, and seamless storytelling.

In 2022, she served as the set-up director for the Netflix series Wellmania (starring Celeste Barber), and in 2021 she directed multiple episodes of The PM’s Daughter (Fremantle Media/ ABC), in addition to creating and directing Under The Vines (AcornTV/ TV3), earning her a nomination for The Esben Storm Award for Best Direction in a Children’s TV or SVOD Drama Series Episode at the 2022 ADG Awards.

Her short film fOUR (prod. Zyra McAuliffe, 2007) had local and international success, being nominated for AFI awards for both writing and directing; and was the winner of an IF Award and the Flickerfest Audience Award. The film screened at the G’day USA RADAR Showcase in LA and the Palm Springs Short Film Festival.

Another short Dugong (Prod. Melanie Brunt, 2006) screened in competition at Sundance and Aspen Film Festivals and was the winner of the Flickerfest and St Kilda Film Festival best screenplay awards. Dugong was nominated for two AFI Awards for Best Short Film and Best Screenplay, and an Australian Director’s Guild Award.

Erin was also nominated for the IF Award for Rising Talent. Another short 62 Sleeps (Prod. Dane Carson, 2004) won the Dendy Award for Best Drama at the Sydney Film Festival, and the Young Talent Award at the Munich International Festival of Film Schools.

She has directed numerous comedy series including At Home with Julia (Quail Entertainment/ ABC, 2011); both seasons of the hugely popular ABC series Squinters (Jungle Entertainment) and also sketches for Skit Box's Wham Bam Thankyou Ma'am (Skitbox / ABC).

She directed the pilot of Timothy (Quail TV, 2014) a one-off drama adaptation of the Lally Katz's stage play Stories I Want to Tell You in Person (Matchbox Pictures, 2015) and episodes of the drama series Rush (Southern Star/ Channel Ten, 2008).

In 2017 Erin directed the Gender Matters funded web series pilot The Virgin Intervention (pr. Holly Fraser, 2017) for Galvanized Film Group; and the Long Story Short selected web series Other People’s Problems (pr. Charlotte Seymour, 2017) for which she was nominated for an ADG Award for best online drama.

In 2018 she was nominated for an ADG Award for her work on Sando, Episode 6 (Jungle Entertainment/ ABC), and from 2019-2021 she directed various episodes of the immensely popular Australian series Doctor Doctor (Easy Tiger / Nine Network).

In 2023, Erin directed a block of Paper Dolls (Helium/ Paramount+). Set in the early 2000s, this 8-part series is based on an original concept created by Belinda Chapple, one of the original members of Bardot, and follows five aspiring singers who are thrust into the spotlight in the pursuit of pop-stardom and fame on a music reality television show. Most recently, she directed the first three episodes of Under The Vines Season 3 (AcornTV/TV3).

Erin is currently in advanced development on Aftermath (Hardy White Productions), a crime drama series she created.
