Claire is an experienced screenwriter and script producer.

She wrote multiple episodes and co-script-produced the 2021 Seven series Royal Flying Doctor Service for Endemol Shine Banks. RFDS was nominated for a 2021 AACTA Audience Choice Award for Favourite Television Drama in 2021, a 2022 TV Week Silver Logie for Most Outstanding Drama Series and a 2022 Logie Award for Most Popular Drama Program. Claire is currently writing on series 2.

Recently, Claire co-wrote the finale of the third season of Paramount + series Five Bedrooms, released in 2022. She was also the co-script producer and wrote 2 episodes of the first season of Network Ten’s series, Playing for Keeps as well as writing on series 2. She also wrote multiple episodes of the seventh season of Offspring, and for both series 1 and 2 of Network Ten’s The Wrong Girl, script editing on the first season.

In 2016, Claire was a recipient of Screen Australia’s Gender Matters: Brilliant Stories funding, joining forces with Martha Coleman, Sarah Bishop and Ainslie Clouston to develop the half-hour satirical comedy Public Relations. She is currently developing a dark crime comedy with Ainslie Clouston for Endemol Shine and writing a feature.

Claire has twice been nominated for an Australian Writers' Guild Award. She was nominated in 2015 for her webseries Bedhead and in 2012 for the Monte Miller Award for Best Unproduced Screenplay for her pilot script The Box, a drama about a woman who wants to be football commentator in the 1970’s.
