Sophie is a multi-award-winning playwright and screenwriter, based in London. She is the 2023 winner of the Peggy Ramsay/Film4 Award.

Sophie’s play Bacon (Tony Craze Award Winner 2018) ran at Finborough Theatre in 2022, to critical acclaim, winning four Off West End Awards. Bacon toured the UK, Melbourne and New York in 2023, and has since been performed across the globe in various iterations.

Sophie has recently completed an attachment at the National Theatre, developing a new play, Beans, which one won the Sonia Friedman Productions Prize for Best Play in 2024. Her play Sting will be staged at the Young Vic Theatre in 2026, and she is developing a TV version with The Lighthouse. Sophie is also writing a play for National Theatre Connections.
