Roland Gallois is a film and documentary editor with over 20 years’ experience. His credits include See Saw Pictures’ Slow West (dir. John McLean, 2015) starring Michael Fassbender and Ben Mendelsohn, Porchlight Films’ The Hunter (dir. Daniel Nettheim, 2011) starring Willem Dafoe and the award-winning Samson And Delilah (dir. Warwick Thornton, 2009), which won the ‘Camera D’Or’ prize at the Cannes film festival. Roland’s creative collaboration with Warwick Thornton has also included the critically acclaimed documentary series Art & Soul (2010) and Darkside (2013).
Roland’s documentary credits include the Ian Thorpe documentary The Swimmer (dir. Gregor Jordan, 2012), the Jane Campion story, Working With Jane (dir. Paola Morabito, 2009), Painting Light In A Dark World (dir. Sascha Ettinger-Epstein, 2003) for which he won an AFI/AACTA Award and, most recently, the feature documentary Deep Water (dir. Amanda Blue, 2016).
