Patrick Mangan

Patrick Mangan is a former soccer reporter for The Age and The Sunday Age. He is the author of Offsider: How a Scrawny Pommy Kid Learned to Love the Socceroos, published in 2010 by Melbourne University Press, and So Close: The Bravest, Craziest, Unluckiest Defeats in Aussie Sport, published in 2013 by Hachette. He has contributed about sport to The Guardian, Inside Sport, the Qantas in-flight magazine and BBC Radio. He currently works as a book editor and lives in Sydney.
