Michael Jenkins is a multi-award-winning film and television director and writer. His credits include writing the award-winning feature Careful He Might Hear You (Won AFI Award) and Robbery Under Arms, directing the features Emerald City (based on David Williamson’s play) and Sweet Talker and as writer and director, The Heartbreak Kid and Rebel.
Michael’s work on miniseries includes writing Water Under the Bridge and directing Scales of Justice, Dirtwater Dynasty (which he also wrote), Leaving of Liverpool and Blue Murder.
He was series creator, director, writer, executive producer and script editor on the television series Heartbreak High and Young Lions and also series creator, executive producer, director and script editor on Wildside.
In 2016, Michael directed and produced the highly anticipated two-part miniseries Blue Murder: Killer Cop, the follow-up to Blue Murder starring Richard Roxburgh and Toni Collette.
