Luke Eve


Luke has written, directed and produced multiple short films that have screened at many international film festivals with his film Australian Summer which won Best Film at Tropfest in 2005.

In 2009 he directed 3 episodes of the SBS series Dave in the Life. In 2011 he was series director for the SBS/Matchbox six-part series SEX: An Unnatural History and also completed Great Southern Land, produced by Cordell Jigsaw for the ABC. Luke received an ADG Award Nomination for his direction on the series. In 2014, he directed two episodes of Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery for CJZ Productions and ABC Television.

Luke launched a six-part web series Low Life in 2014, which he directed and produced. The series has screened worldwide at festivals including the Berlin, Miami and Korea “webfests”, winning numerous awards including Best Direction, Best Comedy, Best Drama, and Best International web series. He followed this with High Life, which was released in April 2017 and has won the Grand Jury Prize at Toronto Web Festival, Best Drama and Best Director at Melbourne Web Fest, Best Drama at Berlin Web Fest and Best Director at the International Academy of Web Television Awards.

He recently finished working on a pilot he directed called Mourners Inc. which stars Brooklyn 99’s Melissa Fumero and is part of Ron Howard’s digital platform New Form Digital.
