Jo Briscoe

Production Designer

Jo is a Production Designer working in film, television and theatre.

Based in Melbourne, her screen credits include Mustangs FC (Season 1), The Family Law (Season 2), the award-winning series Please Like Me (Season 3), Upper Middle Bogan (Seasons 1-3), and Nowhere Boys (Season 1). Jo has also worked on the ABC comedies WoodleyLittle LunchStories I Want to Tell You in Person and The Katering Show (Season 2) – where she won the APDG Award for best production design on a television production.

Short film credits include Polly and Me, Hammer or Claw and Hush. She also worked as an Art Director on feature film Kill Me Three Times and worked as Costume Designer on Foxtel’s Conspiracy 365, as well as designing numerous commercials and music videos.

With a background in theatre set and costume design, Jo has extensive design credits for companies including Melbourne Theatre Company, Sydney Theatre Company, Belvoir, Griffin, OzOpera, Legs on the Wall and ATYP, with shows that have toured both nationally and internationally. Jo’s recent credits include MTC’s Losing Face by Marieke Hardy (set to premiere in June 2026), Cyrano and The Sound Inside.

She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Design from Penn State University.
