Sad Man Studio’s ‘Finally, A Show About Men’ Releases First Episode

Sam Leighton-Dore, alongside husband and creative partner Bradley Tennant, have released the first episode of their animated sketch comedy Finally, A Show About Men on Aunty Donna’s Grouse House Youtube Channel. Episodes drop weekly from Sunday May 24.

The satirical bite-sized series tackles the radical proposition that men may, in fact, have feelings, blending absurdity and vulnerability to explore what it means to be a man in modern day Australia.

Sam and Bradley, as co-directors of Sad Man Studio, produced the show with support from Screen Queenslands Online Production Funding intiative. Sam also pens and directs series.

In Variety he described, “[wanting] to create something emotionally honest, globally recognisable, and genuinely funny while exploring masculinity as both deeply human and slightly absurd.”
