Marking 30 Years of the ASE - The 2025 Ellie Awards!

On Saturday 6th the 2025 Australian Screen Editor’s Ellie Awards were held at The State Library of NSW. We are thrilled to congratulate Nick Fenton for his win and Danielle Boesenberg for her accreditation.

Nick was recognised for his work on Justin Kurzel’s The Order, winning Best Editing in a Feature Drama. This marks his second Ellie Award win since relocating to Australia.

Also nominated were Dany Cooper in the feature category for her work on Causeway’s Went Up the Hill, and Christine Cheung for her cut of Episode 1 of Binge series Mix Tape.

The evening marked the 30 year anniversary of the ASE, with all previous presidents invited to speak and share memories from within the guild’s history. Both Dany and Danielle have previously acted as President.
