Congratulations to our 2024 AACTA Award Winners

The 2024 Industry AACTA Awards were held yesterday, and Cameron’s is thrilled to congratulate our award-winning clients.

Amy Baker won the AACTA Award for Best Production Design in Film for The New Boy. The film was directed by Warwick Thornton and produced by Dirty Films.

Emma Freeman won the AACTA Award for Best Direction in a Television Drama or Comedy for her work on episode 4 of The Newsreader. The series is produced by Werner Film and the ABC.

Rachel Perkins, alongside Dylan River, Tov Belling, won the AACTA Award for Best Direction in Nonfiction Television for her work on episode 1 of The Australian Wars. Rachel also produced, wrote, and presented The Australian Wars, which was produced by Blackfella Films.

Madeleine Gottlieb, along with Liam Heyen, Hannah Ngo, Angus Thompson, Emma Myers, Nina Oyama, and Alistair Baldwin, won the AACTA Award for Best Online Drama or Comedy for Latecomers. The series was produced by Mad Ones Films & Lazy Susan Films.
