Abe Forsythe's 'Wolf Like Me' starts production soon

Writer-director Abe Forsythe’s new series Wolf Like Me is set to start production. The series will star Isla Fisher and Josh Gad and is being produced by Made Up Stories’ Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky and Jodi Matterson; and Endevour Content for streamers Stan and Peacock.

Due to shoot in Western Sydney and regional NSW in the coming months, the six-parter is based on Forsythe’s own experience as a 40-something single parent and follows a new relationship between Gary (Gad) and Mary (Fisher), and the baggage they each bring to it. Gary is an emotional wreck and struggles to provide for his daughter since the death of his wife. Mary has a secret she can’t bring herself to share with anyone. The universe brought these two together for a reason, they just need to keep following the signs.

Forsythe has written and will direct all six episodes of the series, along with executive producing it.
