Stephen McCallum's Gritty 1% to Have its Australian Premiere at Sydney Film Festival

Stephen McCallum’s adrenaline-fuelled feature debut 1% will have its Australian premiere at the Sydney Film Festival, it was announced on Tuesday.

The film has been praised for its gritty realism, performances and stunning photography since it debuted at the Toronto Film Festival in September of last year. The film has since gone on to secure distribution in various international territories, including the U.S. where it was nabbed by A24.

You can see the film for yourself at one of two sessions at this year’s Sydney Film Festival; screening at both Event Cinemas George Street and The Ritz Randwick on Saturday, June 9th and Sunday, June 10th respectively. Grab your tickets here and watch the trailer below.
