Simon & Schuster sign ABC TV’s Tim Ayliffe in a three book deal

Tim Ayliffe, the current Managing Editor of Television and Video for ABC News, moves from the small screen to print having inked a handsome deal with Simon & Schuster for a thriller trilogy.

Publishing Director Fiona Henderson says: “It’s been a long time since I’ve been so excited by a new Australian voice in this space. THE GREATER GOOD reminded me of my first taste of Michael Connolly and early Peter Corris - the dark and mean streets of Sin City but with an extra juicy serve of the realities of reporting in war zones, geopolitics, dirty deals, dodgy politicians – and last, but far from least, great characters and sharp dialogue. Tim captures the things we all love and hate about Sydney – and that she is as much a character as the flawed humans in the story”.

The Greater Good will publish next May.
