Harry Lloyd is a Writer and Director working across drama, comedy and horror. They’re a proud trans-masc creative originally from South-West Wales.

In 2026, Harry was named as part of the annual IF Rising Talent Directors cohort, which was announced off the back of their success at Series Mania with the Digital Originals series Homebodies (Mad Ones Films/ SBS). Harry set up the series, and directed five out of the six episodes. It was one of only two Australian works selected for the festival, and was awarded a Special Mention in the Short Form catergory, as well as praised as a Global Breakout by Deadline.

Harry’s other episodic credits include nearly 50 episodes of Neighbours (Fremantle/ Amazon Studios, 2022-25), five episodes of the Nickelodeon hit Rock Island Mysteries (Fremantle, 2024), and two episodes of Turn Up the Volume (Matchbox/ ABC, 2022). In amongst all their 2025 directing work in, Harry was selected by VicScreen for the Apple Cider Vinegar (See-Saw Films/ Netflix) Director’s Attachment to Jeffery Walker. Harry has also written for ABC series Mikki vs the World and Network 10’s The Project.

In their short form work, Harry collaborated with Actor and Writer Chika Ikogwe, and again the Mad Ones team, to direct Dog Eats World, which premiered at Flickerfest in 2025. Their previous short, Butch, premiered at the Mardi Gras Film Festival, where it won Best Screenplay, and further went on to screen at over 35 international festivals including, Frameline (San Fransico) and NewFest (New York). It also screened locally at the 2019 St Kilda Film Festival and the 2020 Melbourne Queer Film Festival.

Harry is currently developing their first feature, Mari Lwyd, a folk horror set in Wales. The remainder of their slate spans across a diverse range of genres, including a revenge thriller, sports drama and socio/political thriller.
