Gregory Day is a writer and musician, winner of the Australian Literature Society (ALS) Gold Medal and the Elizabeth Jolley Short Story Prize. His latest novel, Archipelago of Souls, was published by Picador in 2015. Gregory’s stories and essays have appeared in many esteemed publications, including the Best Australian Stories and Best Australian Essays collections of 2016. He is a regular literary critic for The Australian and Sydney Morning Herald newspapers, he is the first recipient of a PhD by Publication from Deakin University. A Sand Archive (Picador) was shortlisted for The Miles Franklin Award 2019.
