Daisy Dumas is a freelance writer, editor, presenter and producer with one eye on exploring Australia and the other on examining humanity.
She was a senior writer for the Sydney Morning Herald, Diary editor and Life+Style editor. As well as reporting for the Herald, her features have appeared in Fairfax Media’s News Review, Good Weekend, Sunday Life and The Age. Her weekly restaurant review column, Good Food on Sunday, was published in the Sun Herald.
Daisy came to Sydney from New York, where she was a features editor and writer at Mail Online and the Evening Standard in London. In between, she wrote for the BBC, CNN, Independent, National Geographic Green, Australian Women’s Weekly, Faint, Australian Geographic, Mamamia, The National, the London Evening Standard, Ecologist, L’Ecologiste, Base Camp, London Sport, Skieur, FreeSki and the London Lite.
