Alana Wulff


Alana Wulff is an experienced teen entertainment and lifestyle writer, an expert celebrity interviewer and all round showbiz junkie who began her career as a writer for TV HITS Magazine. She has also written for Girlfriend, TV Week, OK! Magazine, the Daily Telegraph as well as numerous entertainment websites both locally and overseas. Her work as a successful copywriter includes writing for clients and brands including Coca-Cola Amatil, Stockland, Australian Hearing, Origin, Nestle, Westpac, VOGUE Eyewear, Table, Westfield and more.

Alana is the author of numerous bestselling books including Ultimate Fashionista: The Young Hollywood Style Guide (Random House), Totally Cody Simpson – The Unofficial Guide, Decoding Hayley Williams – The Unauthorised Guide, and Forever Young, the story of Troye Sivan. Her first fiction novel, Belmont Hill was released in 2013 (Random House). Her latest book, Girlish, an empowering journal for the 21st Century girl was released in November 2017. 

Alana was named Girlfriend Ambassador for their Girlfriend Movement campaign 2017 and is a regular MC for the Crown Group’s Women of the Future events. Her career highlights include covering the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in Los Angeles, swapping pale girl problems with the cast of True Blood, and being given her own parking spot on the set of The Bold & The Beautiful.

Alana is a classically trained pianist and has perfect pitch. She has performed all over Sydney and has been playing since age 2. She also fluent in written and spoken German.

She currently writes for Nova, WHO, Foxtel, Junkee and 9Honey.  Her latest book, Girlish, has been sold to Hachette in France and Kensington Books in the U.S.

Alana currently lives in Sydney.
