Jo Briscoe holds an MFA in Theatre Design from Penn State University. Her set and costume designs for theatre include Ruby Moon (STC), October (Griffin), Stories in the Dark (ATYP), Mr Bailey's Minder (Griffin/Riverina), Nailed (Griffin), A Moment on the Lips (Old Fitzroy/Trades Hall Melbourne/Stables), La Ronde, Elling and Greek Tragedy (Belvoir B Sharp), Noir and The Memory of Water (Darlinghurst Theatre), Vertigo and the Virginia (Old Fitzroy), A Girl in a Car with a Man (The Street/Old Fitzroy) and the Haydn opera La Vera Costanza (Sydney Conservatorium). Jo designed sets only for Flotsam and Jetsam (Jigsaw) and Myth, Propaganda and Disaster... (Stables) and has designed costumes for STC's double bill Reunion and A Kind of Alaska, directed by Andrew Upton and Cate Blanchett in addition to Wilde Tales (B Sharp), On the Case (Legs on the Wall), King Lear (Studio/Riverside), The Suitors (TRS), and What the Umbrella Did Next (ATYP). She was production designer on the short film Hush for SBS TV and most recently has designed the award winning production of Jay's Place at Sydney Theatre and art directed the clips for the Rogue Traders What You're On and Delta Goodrem's You Will Only Break My Heart. She will next design the costumes for The Pillowman at Company B.

Nicholas graduated with a BA in Design at NIDA in 2001 and he has since designed set and costume for a range of theatre productions in the commercial, subsidised and independent sectors. His credits include: set designs for the award-winning Honour Bound, directed by Nigel Jameson for Sydney Opera House; set and costumes for the run-away hit Hedwig and the Angry Inch for Showtune Productions, starring Iota; designing set and costumes for Griffin Theatre Company's Louis Nowra trilogy, The Emperor of Sydney, The Marvellous Boy and The Woman With Dog's Eyes; For Ensemble Theatre Halpern and Johnson, Trying, They're Playing Our Song and Losing Louis; and production design for Edmond and Dealer's Choice, both produced by Albedo Theatre, the company Nicholas has with director Craig Illot. Nicholas is currently designing sets and costumes for his MTC debut show, Lovesong and he will be designing sets for Company B Belvoir's The Pillowman in mid 2008. He has been working as assistant designer on Priscilla, the Musical and he has assisted Brian Thomson on several productions including Boy From Oz and Dame Edna: Back With A Vengeance.

Xanthe graduated from NIDA with a BA in Design after studying Environment and Jewellery Design at the College of Fine Art. In film and TV she has worked in the wardrobe departments for Two Twisted, The Silence, Footy Legends, 48 Shades of Brown and Blue Water High. She was Art Director of the 2004 Tropfest winning short film The Money and Art Director and Costume Designer of the Tropfest Ford promotional short Goodbye Tim. Her theatre credits include designing costumes for Lord of the Flies (Stablemates) 2006 and the B Sharp production of Love Play. Xanthe has costume designed 13 short films for Film Depot's production for SBS TV entitled Bit of Black Business.

Julie has worked extensively as a Costume and Set Designer in Australian Theatre, having worked many times with respected Directors such as Neil Armfield and Gale Edwards. In 2003 she won the Robert Helpman Award for Best Costume Design for her work on The Way of the World with the STC. Her most recent production, for which she designed costumes, is the critically acclaimed STC show Festen (Winner, Best Costume Design, Sydney Theatre Awards 2005). Other credits include: Chasing the Dragon, Del Del, What is the Matter with Mary Jane, Death and the Maiden, The Ham Funeral (co-designer) (Sydney Theatre Company); Buried Child & Trouble in Tahiti (Belvoir Street Theatre); Love Burns (Victoria State Opera). Julie was Head of Costume at the National Institute of Dramatic Art between 2000 and 2005. She designed the costumes for the STC 2006 production of The Bourgeois Gentleman, for which she won the Sydney Theatre Awards Best Costume Design Prize. Julie designed costumes for Kookaburra Musical Theatre's Company, and is currently designing costumes for The Rocky Horror Show.
